Interstate Power Systems has an amazing opportunity for a driven and experienced General/Sales Manager to lead our Carrier Transicold business. We have Carrier Transicold locations in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and Montana. We are looking for someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills and excels at building relationships.


The person we seek must possess the ability to effectively multi-task and have a proven ability to make quick and logical decisions. This person should have experience managing inventory, working with both the parts and service departments in a Dealership.


The ideal candidate will have previous sales management experience within the transportation industry.


We are looking for someone who takes pride in motivating others to succeed. This individual will be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Also, this person should have good communication skills and a commitment to provide excellent customer service by going the extra distance to make sure the customer’s needs are met. The ideal candidate will be from the Twin Cities Metro area and is looking for an opportunity to stay and grow with an organization long-term.


Requirements include:

  • Sales related to the On- Highway Truck and Trailer industry
  • Minimum 3 years of related, sales management, or fixed operations experience required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain and exceed financial goals
  • Good computer skills including ability to use Microsoft office suite
  • Sales management experience required, General Manager experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Ability to travel.

This is a full-time opportunity. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Typical schedule will be Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs, and regular travel throughout the territory will be required.
